Thank you for joining us for our recent club presentation.
It was great to see so many of you and to be able to answer the great questions that came in.
We’re aware it’s often a lot of information to take in during sessions like this, but taking just one thing and implementing it into your training approach can be hugely beneficial.
There will naturally be questions that you’ve thought of since the webinar so we wanted share a few more key trainings with you (that are usually kept under wraps for our clients) so you can get an insight into some of the resources that help our awesome clients achieve success, on a weekly basis.
As we emphasised it's always been more than just 'a strength training program' here at SFE, with our multi disciplinary team approach. From looking after your running or triathlon coaching to integrating non-negotiable S&C, it's as much about the additional elements and how we can provide a gold standard service that supports you along your journey.
From injury management and rehabilitation with our Physiotherapy team, to addressing key health markers, your nutritional requirements and recovery practices, our aim is to provide you with the skills that will stay with you for life.
So below we've selected a handful of our training resources for you to dip into.
If you have any questions or want to find out more about how we can help you to overcome your injuries and break through any performance plateaus then get in contact.
The Ultimate Warm Up Series
One of the most neglected and ignored areas of performance can often be how we prepare to train or compete
Yes we know that this is a critical area to get ourselves mentally and physically prepared for optimal performance
We will be breaking down the most effective and time efficient exercises and routines for you to use forever.
Below the Knee Masterclass
Probably one of the biggest problem areas in terms of running injuries; calf strains, achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis.
In this Masterclass we’ll be going through some of the key exercises and drills that you’ll find in your programming to develop your stability, strength and ‘spring’ in key areas below your knees.
sfe Screening guide
Are you confident what your strengths, weaknesses, imbalances and compensations are?
Doesn't it make sense to know these before embarking on a new training program?
One of the first steps we take with all of our athletes at SFE, is an SFE Movement Screen and Bodyweight Strength Testing. Here are few examples of the types of testing involved….give it a go!
Over Reaching Vs Over Training
We need to over reach within our training sessions at times as this is how we develop and grow, just as long as we couple this with optimal recovery and fuelling etc.
Understanding the red flags associated when we push past this stage and move more into an over training state, can cause many individuals to unravel and fall apart.
So join us as we identify what the potential red flags are and how we can prevent this from happening in the future.
