‘Helping You Restore Movement, Maintain Consistency & Regain Confidence in Your Body’
Welcome!
My name is Polly and I’m a Sports Massage Therapist based in Maiden Bradley, Wiltshire.
I’m passionate about helping my clients to feel and move better - not only through hands on treatment, but also by having an effective approach to their training and recovery.
We can use massage to help reduce pain and tension, promote relaxation, aid recovery and restore optimal movement function - essentially keeping you on top of any niggles and moving well.
Since graduating from University in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings with individuals from recreational exercisers to elite level athletes.
Sports Massage has been a non-negotiable element throughout my own athletic career - having competed at a Professional level for several years in Triathlon (70.3 distance).
Services & Prices
Massage can be a great way to release tension and tight muscles that have built up over time. It can support your training and recovery as well as aiding overall relaxation.
However as a massage therapist I cannot diagnose injuries. Therefore if you have an injury please seek the advise of an injury specialist or doctor who can properly assess the injury before we commence massage.
Initial Appointment (All New Clients) - Please allow 60-75 minutes - £60
Your initial appointment allows us to discuss your individual goals, needs and any issues you’re working though. Like all of our appointments we will discuss and assess first to establish the best plan going forward.
If this is your first appointment and you would like a shorter massage and there is no specific problem please contact me directly.
30 Minute Massage - £30
This duration is suitable for follow up appointments, where you’d like to focus on 1 specific area e.g. shoulders, back or legs
60 Minute Massage -£55
Suitable for follow up appointments, where you’d like to work on multiple areas or have a general full body massage.
90 Minute Massage - £70
Popular with monthly ‘maintenance’ appointments - this is your time to relax and restore - time to target all areas of tightness or restriction.

What is Sports Massage?
Sports Massage is a form of massage that helps to reduce pain and tension, promote relaxation, aid recovery and restore optimal movement function. It involves the manipulation of soft tissue - muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments to enhance performance and prevent injury - commonly for those who are involved in sport or regular physical training.
Clients can range from those experiencing a particular area of muscular tension they’d like to work on, or those who come in monthly for a ‘maintenance’ massage to keep on top of any niggles and moving well.
Not Just For Sports People
You don’t have to be an elite sportsperson or highly trained individual to receive a sports massage. Regular clients include those who are experiencing tension and tightness as a result of desk work, manual jobs or general day to day activities.
Psychological Benefits
Many of us lead very busy lives - combine that with physical training and our bodies and minds are regularly in a state of high alert and activity. As well as the physical benefits that massage brings are the psychological ones. A time to be still, a time to tune in to your body — to stop and breathe.
What To Expect
Each session will begin with a discussion to find out if there are any areas you'd specifically like to work on or any areas of pain or discomfort you've been experiencing.
When necessary this is usually followed by a short physical assessment or some tests that will highlight any muscular restrictions, weaknesses or imbalances that might be present.
Combining this information we can then discuss the best approach to treatment and areas to work on during the massage.
A Comprehensive Approach
Sports massage is most effective when it is combined with a balanced approach. This could include strengthening, mobility, training load management, self massage, recovery strategies or discussing your nutrition. Each clients needs will be different, which is why there is an individualised approach to each appointment and follow up.
